JavaScript code is plain text and may be placed online for download.

JavaScript embedded in an HTML file, or referenced as an external file,
can be read by users.

JavaScript cannot be compressed nor encrypted and still be usable by
a browser.  Browsers have no built - in decryption capabilities.
