To avoid having to carry a copy of the database from one PC to another gbCodeLib provides a built-in ability to FTP the current database files (source code, repository file, and object file) to a users' web site.

Additionally, gbCodeLib can download the files for editing.

This also provides the means of sharing databases between user at physically separate locations where intranet access (shared folders) is not available.

The Files > Synchronize Server menu opens the following window for handling Server Synchronization tasks:

The user's web site FTP information must be filled out to enable the server synchronization features.

• Send
  Uploads the currently selected database (local or remote) to the user's server. This includes the source code file, repository file and the object file.
• Receive
  Downloads the database from the user's server. This includes the source code file, repository file and the object file.

  The existing database files are renamed. They are not deleted.

• Restore
  Deletes the downloaded files and restores the renamed files.
