GBIC >> MCM >> Design

Design
At the heart of an MCM are three key items to be designed - the schematic, the package, and the interconnect. Defining the schematic is not really an MCM-specific topic and is not covered at this site. Package and interconnect design are covered here, as are discussions about the various types of analysis that must be performed to create the designs and to verify their performance against the schematic and customer specifications. Test issues, including hardware and software, are covered on another page at this site.
