Manufacture For the purposes of this site, I have treated the package and interconnect of an MCM as purchased parts which MCM manufacturers buy for use in the manufacturing assembly process flow. This page continues that theme, where "manufacture" is defined as the assembly of the MCM from its bill of materials. Details of interconnect/package fabrication are discussed elsewhere on this site, as are the details of electrically testing an MCM.
