NewsLetters - Other
Newsletters come in two basic flavors. Many sites (or the company behind the site) create a newsletter to generate user visits to their site and to generate interest in the products they have to offer. In contrast, some individuals also create newsletters to generate revenue (they may also have a site, but the newsletter is the point of focus). There tends to be a lot of site/company newsletters (various degrees of usefulness, or currency), but there are far fewer individual newsletters.

Here are my recommendations for independent and site newsletters. These are the one I recommend that you check out first. If none of these catch your interest, the feel free to look at the 'other' list of newsletters to see if any of those meet your needs.

The challenge of newsletters is to provide frequent (daily/weekly) emails to users where each newsletter contains content that will be useful to the recipients. This especially means current information (usually technical). The newsletters generally try to create some sense of community, provide some sense of humor, humanize the site/owner, and provide (positive) feedback from readers of the newsletters.

While I find that newsletters often cover information that I've seen mentioned elsewhere, they also provide enough new material, particularly in-depth coverage of topics, to make it worth my while to read them.

Other Newsletters
Here are other newsletters I've run across. I don't personally monitor these closely but since I'm aware of them I thought I'd list them so you can take a look at them to see if they might be of interest to you.

If you have any suggestions on newsletters to add to this list, please let me know.
