I'm quite proud of this site and believe that you can learn the basics of Perl by using my own tutorial pages. However, sometimes looking at different author's material can provide a different perspective on a topic, in a way that will help you better understand the material.

As part of my own learning experience, I've gone through hundreds of online Perl-related web sites. The following pages contains Perl tutorials which I found useful and can recommend to you as part of your efforts to learn to program in Perl.

    Fairly lengthy, complete coverage, plus HTML tutorial also
  • Picking Up Perl
    It says it's a book, but has just 66 pages. Downloadable as a single file.
