User Groups
If you're a beginner programmer or a solo programmer working on your own, the
you will appreciate the benefits of having a group of programmers to turn
to for discussion.
Most language user groups are formed by like-minded programmers, wanting to
band together to get the benefit from each other's experience. They welcome
experienced and beginner programmers alike.
PowerBASIC User Groups
Unfortunately, I have found no user groups dedicated to PowerBASIC. But see
the section below on computer user groups whose scope covers issues of interest
to PowerBASIC programmers.
Other User Groups
The good news is that are plenty of computer user groups from which PowerBASIC
programmers can benefit - BASIC, Windows, API, computers, assembly language,
and more.
As you visit some of these, remember that a computer user group may support
several smaller "special interest groups", or SIGS, whose topics are more
focussed and may be of specific interest to you.
Forums
Also, check out my PowerBASIC Forums section, which identifies several
PowerBASIC-specific forums, as well as other general-interest programming forums.
If you have suggestions for user groups to add to this list, please let me know.
