Code Librarians      (Nov 2005)

Code Librarians provide an easy means of storing snippets of source code. Code librarians range from simple text databases to applications with a very wide range of programmer tools.

This review is in work. Until the review is complete, I suggest the following application for your code librarian needs:

  • gbCodeLib
    gbCodeLib is a freeware code librarian with the ability to store code snippets from multiple languages. It comes with a built-in syntax editor, has over 1000 snippets from 15 languages, can export code to web page format, binary file storage, and also provides revision control features.

    gbCodeLib is one of my freeware applications.
