Screen Recorders create a video file of all actions taken
on a computer screen. Such files are typically used to create
demonstration/training aides. Audio capture is typically included
in the applications, along with limited video editing.

activity as AVI or Streaming Flash (SWF) files. It's very simple

These are the minimum features that I expect from a screen recorder.
