Timers (July 2007)
Timers tend to be simple utilities which can act as
countdown or countup timers. Typically, an alarm (visual or
audible) is optionally at the end of the timed interval. Some
timers also offer multiple timed intervals and support the
launch of an executable program at the end of the intervals.
Review Results
This review is in work. Until the review is complete, I suggest the
following application for your timer needs:
- gbOfficeTimer
gbOfficeTimer is a freeware tool for counting down or up. At the
end of the timed interval an alarm can be set or an application
launched.
gbOfficeTimer also provides a number of additional features which
are in effect during a countdown. Background images, slideshows,
cartoon animations, and screensavers are available to make the
wait more enjoyable.
gbOfficeTimer is one of my freeware applications.

These are the programs included in this review. If a

whose features sometimes overlap those of the timers included in this review.
User Feedback & Suggestions
I welcome any suggestions on other timer programs that should be
considered, or suggestions on how better to review the selected programs.
