Science Fiction is what I read for pleasure and it's pretty much all I read except technical literature (books and magazines) and the newspaper. I have occasionally read, and enjoyed, other types of books but my time for reading seems so limited that I invariably choose the type of literature that I enjoy the most - science fiction!

This site focusses on science fiction books - not magazines, fans, conventions, authors, writing or other aspects of science fiction) - just books.

In addition to my own book recommendations, I provide easy access to lists of the Hugo, Nebula, Philip K. Dick, John W. Campbell, BSFA, Arthur Clarke, Aurora and Ditmar award winners and runner ups. These reflect the major US, Canadian, British, and Australian awards.
