| Known to the family as "Ma Faye" (pronounced as one word) she lived most of her life in Elk City after her marriage to James Preston Griffin (known as Gus or Preston). MaFaye sufferred with health problems following throat cancer in her early years. She loved fishing and was a favorite hangout for a variety of nieces and nephews. Mostly a housewife/mother, she held various jobs througout her marriage, including gutting turkies. She had a large collection of salt and pepper shakers of various shapes and sizes. |
