VB6 Sample Application Review One of the more often asked questions is "Where can I get sample applications?". Many folks do not realize that dozens of sample applications ship with VB! Generally, the VB6 sample projects are worth walking through but some have more training value, or more re-use potential, than others. I've reviewed the VB6 samples and have come up with the recommendations below. If you walk through the sample projects yourself, pay close attention to the comments (which will help you determine if the code can be re-used by you in your own applications). Also look through the subroutines - that is often where the treasures are buried! For now, here is the list of applications which are shipped with the VB6 Professional Edition. I will eventually expand this list to show the subroutines within the sample applications - those that I believe you should be aware of and that could find use in your own applications.
