gbVisualGet
gbVisualGet
gbVisualGet presents a list of all links on a web page, allows the user to select
items on the list and then downloads those items without further action required on the
part of the user.
gbVisualGet includes a built-in web browser so that the user can navigate to pages of
interest. It also includes a file browser so that the user can open local files.
To install, just unzip the contents of the distribution file into a folder of its own!

Using gbVisualGet
Using gbVisualGet consists of two basic steps:
Using the built-in web browser, navigate to a page of interest. gbVisualGet
will automatically build a list of file links from the page)
Check files to download
Press the download toolbar button
That's it! Go about your business and gbVisualGet will sound an alarm when
the downloads are complete!
Toolbar
All gbVisualGet features and settings are accessed through the toolbar buttons.
Download - Download all checked files
Stop - Stop all in-progress downloads
Open - Open the download folder
Zip - Display only archive links
Music - Display only music links
HTML - Display only HTML links
Images - Display only image links
All - Display all links
Previous - Go to previous page displayed in browser
Next - Go to next page displayed in browser
Reload - Reload current URL
Home - Go to the home page
Size - Get size of each line
Search - Go to the default search site
Local - Open a local file in the web browser
History - Display URL history
Find - Open the Find dialog, for searching within the current page
Source - Display source code for the current page
Browser - Display the web browser
Settings - Various settings via these dropdown submenus:
Change Download Folder - Open folder select dialog
Set Current Page as Home Page - set home page to currently displayed URL
Add Current Page to Bookmarks - add currently displayed URL to bookmark list
Show Bookmarks - display bookmark list in ListView
Clear Bookmarks - clear list of bookmarked sites
Clear History - clear list of previoulsly visited sites
All Means All - include all link types, not just the basic 4 types
Uncheck on Download - uncheck files once they are downloaded
AutoCreate Folder On Download - create folder, name to match download site, when downloading files
Play Sound When Download Complete - play a short sound after the last file is downloaded
Display Settings - display various settings in popup dialog
Help - Open this online Help page
ListView Context Menu
The following context menu items are available by right-clicking on the ListView control.
Check All - Check all items in list
UnCheck All - UnCheck all items in list
Copy Selected Link - Copy path of selected links to clipboard
Copy Checked Links - Copy paths of checked links to clipboard
Copy All Links - Copy paths of all links, whether checked or not, to clipboard
Download Selected Item - Download the selected link
Download Checked Items - Download all checked items
Download All Items - Download all items, whether checked or not
Remove Selected Item - Remove selected link from list
Remove Checked Items - Remove all checked items from list
Remove All Items - Remove all items, whether checked or not, from list
Open Selected Item in Browser - Send path of selected item to web browser for opening

The following key combinations are available to the user to access gbVisualGet features:
F1 - Help
F3 - Find dialog
Ctrl+D - Download checked files
Ctrl+O - Open download folder
Ctrl+T - Toggle link types to be displayed
Ctrl+P - Previous Page
Ctrl+N - Next Page
Ctrl+G - Go to list URL
Ctrl+H - Go to home page
Ctrl+F - Find dialog
Ctrl+S - Display source code
