Tin Roof Dessert (Cinda Kraft)
2 rows Oreo cookies, crushed
1 stick margarine, melted
½ gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
1 can chocolate syrup
1 jar salted peanuts
1 large Cool Whip
Crush cookies to make crust (use a food processor. Put in bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
Melt margarine and drizzle over top of cookies. Spoon softened ice cream over
cookies. Pour on chocolate syrup and peanuts. Freeze. When frozen solid,
spread with Cool Chip. Freeze. When frozen, wrap I foil and it will keep indefinitely.
When serving, remove from freezer and unwrap and let set out for a few minutes
to make slicing easier.
