gbAnimator - Opening/Saving Models
gbAnimator files use the ".bot" extension. The files, however, are simple text files and can be easily viewed/edited with any text editor. Additionally, the use of a text format allows the inclusion of a model inside an email or in online posts - where the use of an attachment is less convenient.

Startup
When gbAnimator starts it looks in the installation folder for a file called 'resume.bot'. If the file is not found, no model is loaded.

When gbAnimator is closed, the current model is saved under the filename 'resume.bot' and will be loaded automatically when gbAnimator is started again.

Open a Model
gbAnimator displays a list of all *.bot files found in the installation folder and displays them in the dropdown list in the toolbar. Simply select a file to display it in gbAnimator.

A model can also be opened by pressing the Reload toolbar button. This opens the model whose name is found in the dropdown list textbox. Changes made in the display area are lost.

Save a Model
Changes made to an animation can be saved by pressing the Save button on the toobar. The name currently in the drop down control will be used, overwriting any existing file by the same name (without user confirmation).

To save the current animation under a new file name, just type in a new file name in the dropdown list textbox and press Enter (or press the Save button).

File Location
gbAnimators model files must be kept in the 'zoo' subfolder of the gbAnimator installation folder.
