Instructions
The Family Tree is simple to navigate and provides a very
powerful way to track the genealogy of multiple families.
Having it reside on the Internet makes it easy for all
family members to view or print the information.
Main Page
The Main Page consists of a simple, indented list
which shows all of the family names, and those persons
born into each name. The list is paternal, in that children
are only shown beneath their male lineage. Children are always shown
under their family name, not their mother's maiden family name.
Not every possible family line is traced. Names which are not
highlighted (have no link) are not tracked.
Individual Data
Data on individuals may be reached simply by clicking on
any highlighted name. This will call up a Personal Page,
giving details about that person's life in a standard format.
The exception to this feature is that clicking on a name given
on the Main Page as "Marriage to ..." will transfer you first to
the section of the main page which contains the spouse's name. You
may then reach the Personal Page by clicking on the name again.
To return to the Main Page of the Family Tree, simply click on
the name at the top of the page. This will return you to that
person's location in the Main Page.
Other names may be found on the Personal Page and, if
highlighted, may be used to go to that person's Personal
Page.
Finally, the bottom section of the Personal Page contains
links to photographs. Clicking on these links will cause
the image to be displayed from within your web browser.
